Beginners’ Classes
Note: beginners’ lessons are currently on hiatus. You do *not* need to attend beginners classes to attend our group!
Interested in trying English Country Dancing but worried that you “can’t dance”? Want a little extra help mastering the basics? Never fear! The Williamsburg Heritage Dancers are periodically offering weekly Beginners’ Classes on Tuesday nights from 7:30-8pm. We will teach the basic elements of English Country Dancing in a friendly, low-pressure atmosphere.
Attendees are encouraged to stay for social dancing from 8-10. No partner or dance experience is required! The beginners’ classes are free; social dancing is a suggested $1 donation per person. Dancing is held at 710 South Henry Street in Williamsburg (Newport House B&B); park on Mimosa Drive.
