Performance Group

The Williamsburg Heritage Dance Ensemble is a costumed performance group that can be hired to demonstrate historical English Country Dances. Typical performances include dances ranging in date from the sixteenth century through the American Revolution, but for special occasions can be tailored to a specific period or theme. Most programs include opportunities for audience participation.

The performance group charges a modest fee based on location and length of performance. The group has been hired to dance as far afield as Blue Ridge, Georgia; Washington, DC; the Cumberland Gap; and Stratford Hall Plantation. Generally, however, performances are at locations within an hour’s drive from Williamsburg. For more information, please contact us.
